Funeral practices and burial rites often have similar themes, in the sense that they are gloomy and morbid across the world, however, it is not often that they turn into an event where one tends to dance with ecstasy.

This is the main reason why the colorful funeral of a Mexican businessman went viral on social media platforms.

Relatives, friends, and employees convened to bid adieu to the deceased owner of a creamery, Carlos Santiago Gomez, who passed on Oct. 11, in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca. 

Instead of shedding tears in somber black attire, attendees decided to turn the funeral festive by turning up the music and setting off fireworks in a bid to honor the dearly departed big cheese.

In a video circulating like wildfire on social media, a group of pallbearers can be seen dancing as they carry his coffin, accompanied by a marching band.

To top it all off, a man in a giant cheese costume showing off his dancing skills seized the limelight during the ceremony, according to local reports.
