British driver Lewis Hamilton for the Mercedes team won the seventh race of the 2020 Formula 1 season in Belgium on Sunday.

The 35-year-old completed the 44-lap race in 1:24:08 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot.

Finnish national Valtteri Bottas, another Mercedes driver, trailed 8.44 seconds behind his teammate.

Red Bull Racing Honda's Max Verstappen from the Netherlands came third, 15.45 seconds behind Hamilton.

The next race of the 2020 season is scheduled for Sept. 6. in Italy.
