Molten lava fills swimming pool as volcano erupts on Canary Island

Footage shows the moment molten lava seeped into a swimming pool following the eruption of the Cumbre Viejaya Volcano, located on La Palma, the fifth largest of Spain's Canary Islands. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far, but the damage wrought by the lava has destroyed 166 homes. Scientists state that the lava flow from the volcano, which was activated after 50 years, may last for weeks, or even months.
